Preparation for Change

The preparation phase develops the capacities of both individuals and teams to manage the upcoming change. It attempts to energise groups who will be impacted by the change through involving people at all levels in the change initiative, leading to a sense of ownership and motivation, and maybe even a few new good ideas.

Lean Business France's Preparation for Change Process can contribute to your change programme through

- selecting, training, coaching and developing change leaders and training and coaching a network of change agents,

- ensuring that key stakeholders and other individuals who are critical to the success of the change are aligned and support it,

- helping develop pratical communications tools that deliver clearly articulated, targeted and timely messages,

- building a training and development programme to make available to the people the skills and knowledge they need to make required changes and realise business benefits,

- assessing the alignment between the current reinforcement and reward systems and the types of reinforcers and rewards needed to motivate desired behaviours.

Once this phase has been completed, all (!?) that is left is to successful complete the implementation phase which should go like clockwork if the preparation was thoroughly completed.
